We now have a result for the Australia-Wide Open Pairs, the qualifier for which was held at our Club on Thursday, 27 August.

The event attracted 3,492 Pairs from 97 Clubs around Australia.

Congratulations to Terry Bodycote and Sue Eishauer who came 2nd overall.

The following people distinguished themselves in the Under 300MPs Section:

112th  Ken Bridges and Eta Rogowska

228th  Chris Mansfield and Lyn Boylan

Well done to all who participated.

If you would like to become an accomplished bridge player like the ladies pictured above, then you need to be continually expanding your knowledge.

Jacoby is an extremely important convention as it immediately shows that you and partner have game on and may also indicate slam possibilities.

Come along and join in this free session, which includes instruction notes and practice hands.
