Calling all Novice Players - An event just for you!

The Carol Wood Novice Tournament is open to everyone who had less than 20 Master Points as at 1 January, 2026. This is a Pairs event and green points will be awarded to the top half of the field.

It will be held at Taree Bridge Club, 21 Manning River Drive, on Sunday, 26 April, 2026, starting at 9:00am and finishing with our presentation of prizes at around 4:00pm.                                              

A catered lunch and delicious afternoon tea will be provided. 
Two Directors will be on duty to support new players.

Pairs should have matching system cards and be familiar with the ABF’s alerting (artificial bids) and announcement rules (relating to 1C and 1NT opening bids).

Prizes:  1st - $100     2nd - $60     3rd - $40

Cost:  $40 per person
