Vale Neville Farrell

It is with great sadness that I share the news of Neville Farrell's passing on 2nd December 2024.  The message was received from Megan James .  She was unsure if there will be a funeral.

Many of our long-standing members will fondly remember Neville, who suffered a severe stroke 8-9 years ago.  Despite his physical challenges, he retained his sharp mind but was unable to continue with his beloved bridge.  Neville was a stalwart member and an inspiration to us all.  In recognition of his contributions he was awarded Life Membership status, with a perpetual trophy named in his honour. Neville was a passionate player who taught many of us and urged us to live for the NT bid.

He is survived by his daughter Wendy Farrell and his brother Bill and Jean and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
